NCT ID NCT07451275

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looked at 300 adults having planned cesarean deliveries to see if the way doctors stitch the fat layer under the skin affects wound healing and surgery time. Participants received one of three methods: no stitches, a few separate stitches, or one continuous stitch. The researchers checked for wound problems like infection or fluid buildup ten days after surgery. The goal was to find out which method works best without making the surgery longer.
