Doctors test two surgeries for dangerous scar pregnancies
NCT ID NCT07166627
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for treating a rare and potentially dangerous pregnancy that grows in the scar from a previous cesarean section. Researchers will enroll 68 women with this condition in their first trimester. They aim to determine whether surgical removal of the pregnancy tissue or a less invasive ultrasound-guided evacuation is safer and more effective.
