Which drug is safer for babies during C-Sections?

NCT ID NCT06741410

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two common medications used to treat low blood pressure in mothers during cesarean sections. Researchers wanted to see if one medication (phenylephrine) is safer for newborns than the other (ephedrine), specifically by measuring the baby's blood chemistry at birth. The study involved 94 women who had planned cesarean deliveries with spinal anesthesia.
