Surgery study aims for clearer cervical biopsy results

NCT ID NCT07372248

Summary

This study aims to find the best surgical technique for removing abnormal cervical tissue to help pathologists get the clearest view under the microscope. It will compare three different methods in 150 women undergoing a standard procedure called conization. The main goal is to see which technique causes the least heat damage to the tissue sample, which can interfere with an accurate diagnosis.
