First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested two types of injections for people with neck pain caused by a pinched nerve in the neck (cervical radiculopathy). 70 patients who did not get better with standard treatments received either a standard steroid injection or a newer, potentially safer injection guided by ultrasound. The goal was to see which method provides better pain relief and improved daily function over 12 weeks.
