AI and heat guns: a new front in the fight against cervical cancer
NCT ID NCT07461818
Summary
This study aims to improve care for women with cervical precancer in El Salvador. It will test a new two-step heat treatment method and evaluate an artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to analyze cervical images and help identify which women need treatment most urgently. The research involves 5,000 HPV-positive women and will measure how well the heat treatment works one year later and how accurately the AI tool performs.
