New radiation technique could offer alternative for cervical cancer care

NCT ID NCT06560697

Summary

This study is testing if a newer, external radiation boost (SABR) is as safe and effective as the standard internal radiation boost (brachytherapy) for treating locally advanced cervical cancer. Both methods are given after patients complete standard chemotherapy and radiation. The goal is to see if the newer method can provide a good alternative for hospitals that lack access to the standard technique.
