New brain monitor aims to catch delirium sooner in hospital ICU
NCT ID NCT07449416
Summary
This study is testing a new brain wave monitor (Ceribell) to see if it helps doctors spot delirium earlier in intensive care unit (ICU) patients. It will compare 100 patients monitored with the device to a similar group from the past who received standard care. The goal is to see if earlier detection leads to better management of this serious condition.
