First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special monitor can help doctors spot delirium in ICU patients sooner than usual checks. About 100 adults in the ICU will be monitored, and researchers will see if the device leads to more diagnoses and changes in treatment. The goal is to improve care for patients with confusion or sudden mental changes.
