New bone filler tested to fight stubborn bone infections
NCT ID NCT06555848
Summary
This study follows 128 patients with serious bone infections who received CERAMENT G, an antibiotic-releasing bone filler, during a single surgery. Researchers will track patients for three years to see if the treatment successfully controls the infection, allows new bone to grow, and prevents complications like fractures or reinfection. The goal is to gather long-term safety and effectiveness data for this treatment approach.
