New study tests solo drug for seizure control
NCT ID NCT06453213
Summary
This study is testing whether the approved drug cenobamate can effectively control seizures when used alone in adults with focal epilepsy. It will enroll 49 adults who are either newly diagnosed or have had seizures return, and will measure how many can stay seizure-free for 26 weeks or longer while taking the medication. The goal is to gather more real-world data on using this drug as a single therapy.
