Nasal spray could reverse sudden blindness in groundbreaking trial

Summary
This study tests a nasal spray called cenegermin to see if it can improve vision in people who recently lost eyesight from a condition called NAION (a stroke in the optic nerve). About 272 adults will receive either the spray or a placebo. The goal is to measure if more people gain at least 15 letters on an eye chart after treatment.
