Summary

This study tests a new device that uses short electrical pulses to treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) while people are already having heart surgery for other reasons. About 135 adults aged 18-85 with a history of atrial fibrillation will take part. The goal is to see if the device safely restores a normal heartbeat without the need for long-term medication.
