New blood test could spare patients from uncomfortable biopsy for celiac diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07364461

Summary

This study aims to make diagnosing celiac disease simpler and less invasive. Researchers are testing a specific type of blood test (called CLIA) to see if it can accurately predict intestinal damage from celiac disease. If successful, this could allow some patients to be diagnosed without needing an invasive biopsy procedure.
