Summary
This study aimed to understand how the antibiotic cefiderocol works in the bodies of very young infants (from birth to under 3 months old) who were hospitalized with serious bacterial infections. Researchers measured the drug's levels in the blood and checked for side effects in 30 infants. The goal was to gather information to help doctors use this medicine safely and effectively in this vulnerable age group.
