Summary
This study tested a new antibiotic called cefepime-zidebactam against a standard antibiotic (meropenem) in about 530 adults hospitalized with complicated urinary tract infections or kidney infections. The goal was to see if the new drug works as well and is safe. Participants received treatment for 7 to 10 days while staying in the hospital.
