Tiny probe tracks antibiotic in kids' chests after heart surgery

Summary

This study looks at how the antibiotic cefazolin spreads in the chest of children after heart surgery. Ten children under 6 years old will have a tiny probe placed in their chest to measure antibiotic levels. The goal is to learn how to give the right dose to prevent infections.
