Leg vein therapy shows promise in small trial
NCT ID NCT06231940
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether complex decongestive therapy (CDT) — a type of massage and wrapping — plus exercise can improve blood flow and reduce swelling in people with vein disease. 21 adults with mild to severe vein problems took part. Half received CDT with exercise, the other half did exercise alone. Researchers measured vein flow, leg swelling, and quality of life. The goal was to see if CDT helps ease symptoms.
