Scientists seek clues in mysterious Body-Wide sugar disorder

NCT ID NCT02089789

Summary

This study aims to better understand congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDGs), rare conditions where the body has trouble attaching sugar molecules to proteins and fats. Researchers will observe and collect health information from people ages 1 month to 80 years who have or are suspected to have a CDG. The goal is to learn about the symptoms, how the disease progresses over time, and its underlying biology to help guide future research.
