New drug aims to ease menstrual cramps in major trial

Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests an experimental drug called CDE100 for menstrual cramp pain in women with primary dysmenorrhea. About 238 women aged 16-35 will be randomly assigned to receive either CDE100 or an active comparator (Buscopan Composto) and then switch treatments. The main goal is to measure pain relief over 4 hours after taking the medication.
