New drug could ease period pain for millions

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called CDE100 to see if it safely relieves menstrual cramp pain in women with primary dysmenorrhea. About 238 women aged 16 to 35 with regular periods and a history of moderate to severe cramps will take part. Each participant will receive both CDE100 and a placebo at different times to compare how well the drug works.
