Summary

This study tested a special package of behavioral techniques designed to help children with cancer cope during port catheter needle insertions. It involved 54 children aged 6 to 18 to see if the techniques could reduce their pain, anxiety, and fear. Researchers compared the experiences of children who received the behavioral support to those who did not.
