Can CBD or a nerve zap ease Athletes' Post-Concussion headaches?
NCT ID NCT07624279
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether cannabidiol (CBD) or a non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation device can reduce the number of headache days in elite athletes who have persistent headaches after a head injury. About 80 athletes aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: CBD, nerve stimulation, or standard headache medications. The main goal is to see if these treatments lead to fewer moderate-to-severe headache days over a 12-week period.
