CBD trial offers hope for rare sanfilippo syndrome symptoms

Summary
This study tests whether cannabidiol (CBD) can safely improve mood, behavior, sleep, and other symptoms in people with Sanfilippo syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. About 35 participants aged 4 and older will receive either CBD or a placebo, then switch after a break. Caregivers will complete surveys to track changes.
