Summary

This study tests whether cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce cravings and prevent relapse in people with opioid use disorder who are already on medication like methadone or buprenorphine. About 450 adults will take CBD or a placebo for 24 weeks while continuing their usual treatment. The goal is to see if adding CBD helps them avoid using illicit opioids.
