Cannabis extract tested to soothe debilitating itch in Fragile-Skin children
NCT ID NCT05651607
Summary
This study tested whether a purified cannabis extract (CBD) could safely reduce severe, chronic itching in children with a rare genetic skin-blistering disease. Ten children with the condition took CBD oil by mouth for one month to see if it lessened their itch, pain, and sleep problems. The goal was to find a new way to improve daily life for these children and their families.
