Could a simple catheter change prevent stroke Patients' confusion?

NCT ID NCT07264244

Summary

This study looked at whether keeping a urinary catheter in place after a stroke increases the risk of delirium, a state of sudden confusion. It enrolled 50 older male stroke patients to see if removing the catheter early and using other methods could reduce this risk. The goal was to gather evidence to improve care and prevent complications in vulnerable patients.
