Summary

This study tested whether a small, dissolvable insert placed in the eye after cataract surgery works as well as standard steroid eye drops to control pain and inflammation. It involved 50 adults who had cataract surgery. Researchers compared the insert plus some drops to the usual regimen of many eye drops over several weeks.
