NCT ID NCT07074431

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests a new, less invasive way to remove cataracts using high-frequency pulsed vacuum instead of standard ultrasound. The goal is to see if this gentler method leads to faster recovery and fewer side effects, especially for people with delicate corneas. About 60 adults with cataracts in both eyes will have one eye treated with each method to compare results.
