New vacuum method for cataracts could mean faster healing

This study tests a new, gentler way to remove cataracts (cloudy lenses) using high-frequency pulsed vacuum instead of the usual ultrasound. The goal is to see if it causes less damage to the eye's inner lining, leading to faster recovery and fewer risks. Sixty adults with cataracts in both eyes will have one eye treated with each method to compare results directly.
