New eye surgery gel proves safe in Real-World test

NCT ID NCT07343973

Summary

This study tested a special gel used during cataract surgery to help protect the eye and make the operation easier for surgeons. Researchers followed 69 patients to see if the gel safely maintained space in the eye during surgery and was easy to remove afterward. The goal was to confirm the gel works well in real-world use and helps protect delicate eye tissue.
