New cataract lens aims for Full-Range vision in one surgery

Summary
This study tested a new type of artificial lens (AT ELANA 841P) for people having cataract surgery. 284 adults received either the new lens or a standard lens in both eyes. The goal was to see if the new lens provides better vision at all distances—near, far, and in between—while being just as safe. Participants were followed for 6 months with eye exams and vision questionnaires.
