New lens design aims to sharpen vision after cataract removal
NCT ID NCT06400745
Summary
This study compared two types of artificial lenses implanted during cataract surgery to see which provides better vision. Researchers tested the newer Clareon PanOptix Pro lens against the standard Clareon PanOptix lens in 87 people who had surgery on both eyes. Each participant received one type of lens in one eye and the other type in their other eye, allowing for direct comparison of vision quality at various distances over six months.
