Eye doctors test which math works best for lens implants
NCT ID NCT07346456
Summary
This study compared different mathematical formulas used to calculate the correct lens power for cataract surgery. Researchers followed 102 patients with a specific corneal shape to see which formula gave the most accurate vision results after surgery. The study measured patients' vision at 1, 3, and 6 months after their operations to determine which calculation method worked best.
