First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares several types of approved artificial lenses (intraocular lenses) used in cataract surgery to see which one provides the clearest vision at intermediate distances, like reading a computer screen. About 461 people with age-related cataracts will receive a different lens in each eye and be followed after surgery. The goal is to help doctors choose the best lens for their patients.
