Summary
This study is testing whether a type of cassava starch, called RT-90, can help control blood sugar and act as a prebiotic to improve gut bacteria. It will involve 115 healthy adults who will consume the starch daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood sugar, body composition, and gut microbiome to see if the starch is beneficial.
