Summary
This study tested a special sponge containing carvacrol (a natural compound found in oregano) placed on the roof of the mouth after a gum graft procedure. The goal was to see if it could reduce pain and improve healing at the donor site. Thirty healthy adults participated, and the researchers measured pain levels and tissue color over six weeks.
