Summary

This study tested a treatment called Chondron, which uses a person's own cartilage cells to repair damaged ankle cartilage. The trial aimed to see if the treatment could improve cartilage grade and foot/ankle function over 18 months. It included 28 people aged 15 to 65 with moderate to severe cartilage defects. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
