New immune cell therapy targets Tough-to-Treat leukemias
NCT ID NCT07471789
Summary
This early-stage study is testing an experimental treatment called CART84 for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) that has come back or not responded to other treatments. CART84 is a type of CAR-T therapy, where a patient's own immune cells are collected, modified in a lab to better target cancer cells, and then infused back into the patient. The study's main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this therapy shows early signs of helping control these aggressive blood cancers.
