Steroid vs. saline: which injection eases wrist pain best?

NCT ID NCT06882603

Summary

This study aims to find out which injection method works better for relieving the pain and numbness of carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will compare a standard steroid injection to a newer method using only saltwater (saline) to gently separate the nerve. About 90 adult participants will receive one of the injections plus hand exercises, or just the exercises alone, and be followed for 12 weeks.
