Hands-On help: new study tests therapies for common wrist pain

NCT ID NCT07359274

Summary

This study aims to see if adding specific hand therapy exercises to standard wrist splint treatment works better for easing carpal tunnel symptoms. It will compare three approaches: splints alone, splints plus nerve gliding exercises, and splints plus bone mobilization techniques. Researchers will measure changes in pain, hand function, and nerve appearance using ultrasound in 93 adults with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome.
