Wax or shockwaves? new study tests best hand pain fix

Summary

This study looks at two different hand treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome: paraffin wax therapy and shockwave therapy (ESWT). About 60 adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel will receive one of these treatments. Researchers will measure nerve thickness, nerve activity, pain levels, and quality of life before and after treatment to see which approach works better.
