Shockwaves vs. warm wax: new study tests hand pain relief

Summary

This study is comparing two common physical therapy treatments for carpal tunnel syndrome to see which works better. Sixty patients with hand pain and numbness will receive either paraffin wax therapy or shockwave therapy. Researchers will measure changes in nerve thickness, pain levels, and quality of life before and after treatment.
