Summary
This study tested whether an injection of a lab-made protein (rhFGF1) can help people with carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition that causes pain, numbness, and weakness in the hand. Twenty-four adults with mild to moderate carpal tunnel received the injection and were followed for six months. Researchers measured changes in symptoms and hand function using standard questionnaires and pain scales.
