New ultrasound technique challenges traditional carpal tunnel surgery
NCT ID NCT07230782
Summary
This study compared two surgical methods for treating carpal tunnel syndrome: a newer, minimally invasive ultrasound-guided technique and the traditional open surgery. Researchers followed 200 adults with carpal tunnel syndrome to see which approach provided better functional outcomes, faster recovery, and fewer complications. The goal was to determine if the less invasive method offered measurable advantages over the standard procedure.
