Can Hands-On therapy loosen stiff nerves in wrists?

NCT ID NCT06150443

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a hands-on therapy called Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) could reduce stiffness in the wrist nerve of people with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Ten participants received either OMT, standard care like splints and injections, or a combination for six weeks. Researchers used special ultrasound imaging to measure nerve stiffness and surveyed patients about their symptoms to see if the therapy helped.
