Hand pain relief: therapy vs. pills vs. doing nothing

NCT ID NCT04025203

Summary

This study compared four approaches to reduce pain and improve hand function in people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers tested a physiotherapy technique, two common pain medications (ibuprofen and gabapentin), and no treatment at all. They measured how well each approach worked for 196 participants with confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome.
