Summary

This study compared two different injections for treating mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Thirty patients received either a steroid injection (betamethasone) or a 5% dextrose (sugar water) injection, guided by ultrasound. Researchers measured pain levels and hand function over 12 weeks to see which treatment worked better.
