Summary

This study was designed to see if using ultrasound to measure blood flow in the carotid artery could help doctors give the right amount of IV fluids during spinal anesthesia for knee surgery, aiming to prevent a drop in blood pressure. The trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available. It was planned for adults aged 19-80 undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.
