Summary
This study was designed to test whether measuring blood flow in the carotid artery could help doctors give the right amount of fluids during spinal anesthesia for knee surgery, aiming to prevent low blood pressure. It was planned for adults aged 19-80 but was withdrawn before enrolling any participants. The approach was experimental and not yet proven.
