First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a liquid carob extract can improve blood sugar levels in people with prediabetes. About 70 adults aged 18-65 with prediabetes will be randomly assigned to take either the carob extract or a placebo. Researchers will measure blood sugar and insulin levels over time to see if the extract helps control glucose and prevent progression to diabetes.
