Natural supplement tested to heal stomach damage after infection
NCT ID NCT07179237
Summary
This study is testing whether a supplement called Carminal, which contains aloe vera and other natural ingredients, can help heal the stomach lining after successful treatment for H. pylori infection. Eighty adults with confirmed H. pylori gastritis will receive either the supplement or a placebo along with standard antibiotic therapy, then continue the supplement for 12 weeks after the infection is cleared. Researchers will check if the supplement improves stomach healing and reduces symptoms by comparing endoscopy results and symptom questionnaires before and after treatment.
