Study probes why cavities return after Kids' major dental surgery
NCT ID NCT07330570
Summary
This study aims to understand why children who had extensive dental work for severe early childhood cavities are still at high risk for new cavities years later. Researchers will check the oral health of 44 children who had dental surgery under general anesthesia between 2015 and 2020. By measuring factors like diet, saliva, and dental hygiene, the study hopes to gather evidence to create better long-term prevention plans for these high-risk kids.
